Avoid Drinking Soda! A Great Alternative to Soft Drinks

According to a Gallup poll discussed here, 48 percent of surveyed Americans — nearly half! — drink soda on a daily basis. Among those who drank soda, the average daily intake was 2.6 glasses per day. But soda has been known to be unhealthy, and and I want to remind you guys why! Here are some reasons below why you should avoid soda.

  • A can of soda has about 10 teaspoons of sugar, leading to weight gain, diabetes, yeast overgrowth, and a lot of other bad reactions to the body.
  • Soda doesn’t have any nutritional value, no natural sugar from fruit whatsoever. There are so many negative things about it but no positive benefits!
  • According to Harvard, studies conducted linked those who drink soda to obesity and health problems.
  • Soda has phosphoric acid, which can lead to osteoporosis. As we get older, the effects become more apparent, especially for those who have consumed soda all their life.

So what do you do if you crave a sweet drink, but want to avoid drinking soda?
