Spring Smoothie Featuring Tropical Fruit and Collagen

Spring cleaning for me always means cleaning out my body. I love smoothies for their cleansing and nourishing properties, as well as to keep me hydrated and full throughout the day. The fruit in this smoothie has antioxidants, such as vitamin C and beta-carotene, and vitamins and minerals such as copper, zinc, and folate. The coconut is amazing too, and I like to crack open fresh coconuts, preserving the juice and meat, using both in the smoothie!

Ingredients:

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pineapple
  • 1/2 medium sized mango
  • 1/2 cup coconut juice
  • 2 tsp almond butter
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut meat
  • 2 scoops Vital Proteins collagen peptides
  • A sprinkle of cinnamon

Directions

  1. Combine and blend all of the ingredients together
  2. Enjoy!
